Risk Disclosure
Last updated: 10th September 2026
This Risk Disclosure describes key risks associated with using PQA Labs Limited's ("PQA Labs", "we", "us") website, developer tools, SDKs, APIs, and the QDay network (collectively, the "Service"). It is not exhaustive. Please read it carefully together with our Terms of Service and Disclaimer before using the Service.
1. No Investment Advice
Information on our website and platform is provided for general and educational purposes only and should not be treated as investment advice or a recommendation. Any decision to acquire, use, hold, or transact in digital assets on or via QDay is made entirely at your own risk and discretion.
2. Market Volatility
Digital assets, including any tokens used to pay transaction fees on or interact with QDay, are highly volatile and speculative. Their value can fluctuate significantly and rapidly, and you could lose some or all of the value of your holdings. You should only commit funds or assets you can afford to lose.
3. Regulatory Uncertainty
The legal and regulatory treatment of blockchain networks, digital assets, and agent-driven commerce is evolving and differs across jurisdictions, including Hong Kong. Changes in law, regulation, or regulatory guidance could restrict, delay, or otherwise adversely affect your ability to use the Service, or the value or legal status of assets associated with it. You are responsible for determining what, if any, taxes and regulatory obligations apply to your use of the Service in your jurisdiction.
4. Technology and Protocol Risk
QDay relies on complex, evolving technology, including post-quantum cryptographic primitives, smart contracts, and distributed consensus mechanisms. Despite our efforts, this technology may contain undiscovered vulnerabilities, bugs, or design flaws, and could be subject to forks, consensus failures, or degraded performance. We do not guarantee any specific level of throughput, settlement time (including "sub-second" settlement), or uptime under all network conditions.
5. Irreversibility and Transaction Finality
Transactions confirmed on the QDay network are generally final and cannot be reversed, refunded, or recalled by PQA Labs. Sending assets to an incorrect address, interacting with a malicious contract, or authorizing an unintended transaction may result in permanent loss.
6. Agentic and Automated Transaction Risk
QDay supports payments and commerce initiated by autonomous agents (including via the x402 protocol). Agents may act on incomplete information, malfunction, be misconfigured, or be manipulated by third parties (for example, through prompt injection or compromised credentials), resulting in erroneous, excessive, or unauthorized transactions. You are solely responsible for the configuration, permissions, and oversight of any agent acting under your authority.
7. Cybersecurity Risk
Interacting with blockchain networks and digital assets carries inherent cybersecurity risk, including phishing, malware, private-key theft, and smart-contract exploits. You are responsible for securing your own devices, wallets, private keys, and credentials. PQA Labs does not custody user assets and cannot recover lost private keys or reverse fraudulent transactions.
8. Third-Party and Interoperability Risk
Applications, bridges, oracles, and agent frameworks built on or connected to QDay by third parties are not developed, controlled, or audited by PQA Labs. Failures, exploits, or errors in such third-party systems may affect assets or transactions associated with the Service, and are outside our control.
9. No Deposit Protection
Digital assets used on or in connection with QDay are not deposits, are not protected by any deposit insurance or investor compensation scheme in Hong Kong or elsewhere, and are not obligations of, or guaranteed by, PQA Labs.
10. No Guarantee of Service Availability
While we aim to provide a reliable and secure network and platform, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may experience downtime, congestion, or other disruptions that affect your ability to access or transact on QDay.
11. Acknowledgment
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the risks described above, that you have had the opportunity to seek independent professional advice, and that you are solely responsible for any decisions you make in connection with the Service.
