Co-founder & CEO

Danny is a finance veteran with a deep technology background. He is responsible for the strategy and operational execution of the company, and for ensuring the delivery of best-in-class post-quantum blockchain solutions. Prior to founding PQA Labs, Danny started his career in finance with American Express and Citibank, and later proceed to hone his expertise through more than two decades of experiences in banking, private equity, and venture investing across North America and Greater China. Danny was also an early contributor to the now widely-used Bluetooth technology when he was with Ericsson Canada.

Co-founder

Duncan has more than 25 years of academic and industry experience in cryptography and distributed ledger technology. He is also the founding member of the Abelian Foundation, which specializes in the development of quantum-resistant and privacy-preserving blockchain technologies. Before co-founding PQA Labs, Duncan led the FinTech initiative at Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) and was responsible for Cybersecurity, Blockchain, AI, Big Data Analytics, and Machine Learning, among other areas.

Technical Director

Vincent, an expert in distributed ledgers (DLT) and blockchain technologies, has over 15 years of experience in web applications, mobile apps and API development. Prior to joining PQA Labs, he co-founded and served as CTO of Coinbama, a company focusing on Web3 projects and delivering blockchain and DLT solutions. He has a wide range of development experience across virtual asset exchanges, wallets, indices, DeFi lending protocols, blockchain-based payment networks, blockchain-as-a-service platforms, and real-world asset tokenization.

Pascal is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of experience across blockchain, fintech, telecom, and cloud-native systems. He began his career at Alcatel and Nokia, where he led complex infrastructure deployments for global telecom operators, including IMS core networks, mobile streaming, and enterprise mobility platforms. He later transitioned to the startup space, where he architected and delivered advanced blockchain solutions—from post-quantum networks and NFT platforms to HSM-based custody systems and crypto mining infrastructure. An expert in distributed ledger technology, Pascal has deep hands-on expertise in system architecture and extensive experience collaborating with development teams across Asia. He is passionate about building secure, scalable technologies that address real-world challenges.

Head of Finance

​Billy is a seasoned financial professional with over 20 years of experience in the banking and insurance industries, specializing in financial planning and management, treasury operations, risk management, and internal control. He has led several financial transformation projects, including financial process automation for investment and accounting systems, during his tenure at prominent institutions such as BNP Paribas, Bank of China, FWD Group, and the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation. Billy has also contributed to IPO and business risk initiatives with regulatory bodies like the SFC and HKMA. He holds both CISA and CPA qualifications in Hong Kong.

Senior Compliance Officer

Steve is a seasoned compliance professional with a strong background in the financial industry. He has a proven track record in managing regulatory obligations, conducting compliance monitoring and testing, and enhancing compliance systems. Steve is experienced in AML, KYC, and risk management, gained through his work at global banks such as HSBC, J.P. Morgan, and Nomura, as well as various fund managers, where he effectively navigated complex compliance landscapes.

Director of Administration
Belinda is currently Director of Administration of PQA Labs Ltd. (“PQA”), taking care of the operational matters, Human Resources and the Firm’s policies etc.
Prior to joining PQA, Belinda experienced a close to 30-years career in private wealth management in Asia, working across several top international financial institutions, including Morgan Stanley as Senior Manager, Goldman Sachs as Executive Director, HSBC, Chase Manhattan, Standard Chartered & Citibank as Assistant Vice President, Associate respectively.
